An e-book (short for electronic book) is the electronic version of a traditional print book that can be accessed and read online.
The LLC offers several options for accessing e-books: - Search the Library Catalogue and check off the “Search only E-Books” box.
- Search the E-book Databases by keyword title, author or subject.
E-book Databases can be searched by any member of the GBC community with a valid library card. For off-campus access, you will be prompted to login using your library barcode and PIN. In addition, certain e-book publishers will prompt you to create a free account before you can access their collection.

Dictionaries & Encyclopedias are available for both general and specialized subject areas.
E-Audiobooks are available for you to download online and listen to using your computer or mp3 player.
