The LLC offers several options for viewing instructional videos, movies, documentaries and feature films. In accordance with GBC’s Captioned Media and E-text Policy, all media newly acquired by the Library is either closed captioned or permission to caption has been obtained.

Videos and DVDs can be found by searching the Library Catalogue.
Videos and DVDs are located behind the Library Learning Commons Help Desk. Due to licensing agreements, most videos and DVDs are designated for "In Library Use Only." Media stations and DVD players are available in the library for viewing purposes. Your current Student ID/Library Card is required to use these items.

To broaden the scope of the films we can use in the classroom, GBC’s Library Learning Commons has negotiated licenses with Audio-Cine Films (ACF) and Criterion Pictures. Please consult our Guide to Using Feature Films in the Classroom for further details.
Before showing a web-based video or clip in a public place such as a classroom, it is your responsibility to verify the website’s policy or the copyright statement that appears with the video.
