• Library Cards & Access

All students, faculty and staff must present a valid library card in order to take materials out of the library and to use many other library services, including library databases. Many of GBC's library resources are also available from outside the college, using Off-Campus Access

All cards are issued for the exclusive use of the holder who is responsible for all library transactions made with the card. Cards are not transferable.

Loss or damage of your card must be reported to the Library Help Desk immediately in order to avoid unauthorized use, for which the borrower will be held responsible. Replacement of your Photo ID card costs $12.00.

**If you have any problems logging in, please send us an email at llc@georgebrown.ca or call us at 416-415-5000 (Casa Loma: ext. 4634, St. James: ext. 2173), or come visit the Library Circulation Desk in person.

Please check George Brown’s website for more details regarding your George Brown College Photo-ID Card. If you do not yet have your Photo ID, you can avoid photo-session line-ups by using the new Student Photo Submission Form  available online.
